Munchies Campaign
I designed a lighthearted, comedic campaign for Munchies chips. The best aspect about Munchies is that the bag features an assortment of chips, so I decided to focus my campaign on a narrative about group dynamics. To develop this storyline, I created a spoof reality tv show with characters based on each chip from the Munchies bag.
For this campaign, I launched Twitter accounts for users to keep up with the ongoing storylines on “Munch Island”. I also created interactive Instagram accounts, designed “Island Edition” Munchies bags, and point of purchase displays that all tied into the group dynamic theme.
This project taught me about the strategy that goes into designing campaigns, as well as the power of implementing social media into advertising.
